The letter, an ex-boyfriend compares the unfaithful disciple Judas Iscariot, who sparked controversy as usual by the church, who played the song as a blasphemy and defamation. In an interview with Fantastico, the singer explained that the song is about forgiving the traitor.
Judas is a biblical figure attached to a huge betrayal, and this was the image used to talk about things that oppress us are private or personal problems:
"You have to forgive Judas within you to move forward."
