Lady Gaga was the surprise guest of the conference of self-confidence, "It's Our Turn" which took place at a school in LosAngeles, she talked about their school days, when he suffered from bulimia and was bullied.
Gaga started to talk about his fight against bulimia, which claims to have suffered during adolescence:

"I vomited a lot when I was in high school. So I am not so confident. And maybe it's easier for me to talk about it because they do not. I wanted to be a skinny dancerbut she was a voluptuous Italian girl, whose father put meatballs on the table every night. I used to come home and say 'Father, why only ever have this kind of food? I needto be thin'and he said 'eat the spaghetti.' (...) [Bulimia] made me feel bad for the voice, so I had to stop. The acid in the vocal cordsis very harmful. For anyone who does not sing, maybe there is no such excuse to stop until it is too lateIt is very dangerous. "

Gaga also talked about the problems she had with bullying:

"I began to have problems with girls in high school. I always knew I wanted a career in music and workOnly this made them to be differentHe had very strong convictions and had many illusions(until today I have... wanted to change the world and stopbullying in America and do whatever it takes to promote world peaceIt may sound ridiculous coming from someone of red lipstick and lots of jewelry in his coatBut I've always been so. Be put in the background is painful(...) Only when I got to the lastyear that could confront the girl who treated me badly. She wasalways bad for me, but I was always trying to be nice to her. So I told him'I am always friendly to you. What is your problem with meMaybe, if I say, maybe we can settle this. 'And she saidsomething likeWell, I do not understand why you carry music so seriously."
